The Rogue Rouge[1] is a character that appears in the Sonic X comic series published by Archie Comics. It was a robot duplicate of Rouge the Bat created by Dr. Eggman to frame Rouge.
Appearance[]
The Rogue Rouge is a perfect doppelganger of her organic template. As such, she is identical to her in both anatomy and attire.
History[]
Archie Comics[]
The Rogue Rouge was first seen stealing the Moon Emerald, and later, the Master Emerald, with everyone assuming the real Rouge to be the culprit. This lead to Rouge being hunted by Knuckles the Echidna and others, who accused her of stealing those gems.[1]
The Rogue Rouge was later sent out by Dr. Eggman to steal a Chaos Emerald for him from the Smithsonian Institute, where Sonic the Hedgehog, Knuckles, and her organic template were. Rouge eventually found out about the existence of her robot copy and would confront her alongside Sonic, Knuckles, and some G.U.N. soldiers. The Rogue Rouge ultimately ended up facing Rouge one-on-one, but was defeated when Rouge ripped off her head.[1]
