The Rockstar Chao Attack is an Item Box power-up that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series
Description [ ] The Rockstar Chao Attack's icon takes form of Cheese , Cream 's Chao , with drummer outfit launching forward. In gameplay, Cheese launches forward then move backward, leaving purple trail and flowers in its wake.
Overview [ ] In gameplay, the Rockstar Chao Attack can only be obtained at random from Item Boxes by Drummer Cream . As with most other Items, Metal Sonic and Metal Sonic Mach 3.0 can also use the Rockstar Chao Attack if they use the Steal Item to steal it from the aforementioned users.
Once obtained, the player can utilize the Rockstar Chao Attack by pressing its icon on the bottom of the HUD. When used, the user lets Cheese out, who will quickly travel down the lane they were deployed on in front of the user. After flying down the lane for a while, Cheese will then ricochet in the opposite direction. Opponents caught in the path of the Rockstar Chao Attack will take damage, causing them to lose Rings and slow down momentarily, and locked the item slots on the bottom of the HUD for a short time, which is preventing them using power-ups stored in them. In addition, the Rockstar Chao Attack can travel through obstacles and will continue moving after hitting rival characters. To avoid the Rockstar Chao Attack, the playable character has to step out of its lane.
The Rockstar Chao Attack can also be upgraded by leveling the user up to level 6 and 12 respectively. For each upgrade, the player will increase the damage dealt with the Rockstar Chao Attack.
