The Rocket Wispon is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by IDW Publishing. It is a Wispon that is both themed after and utilizes the power of the Orange Wisp.[1]

The Rocket Wispon resembles a miniature cannon with a long black barrel, an orange cylindrical body with a small handle protruding from its underside, a black sight on its topside, an orange ring-like tip on the end of its barrel, and a small black kickstand attached to the bottom of the barrel.[1]
Features and abilities[]
The Rocket Wispon excels at damaging targets over long distances by launching deadly rockets. The stand on the Rocket Wispon also allows for ease of use when in a prone position.[1]

During the Eggman War, a singular Rocket Wispon would be used as the choice weapon of Whisper the Wolf, a member of the Diamond Cutters. In conjunction with the Orange Wisp powering it, Whisper would utilize the weapon on several missions, such as one where she assisted her team from atop a hill by shooting and destroying a large Blaster Badnik. On an later mission, Whisper would once again station her Rocket Wispon on a vantage point, but following Mimic's betrayal of the team, she and her Orange Wisp would be forced to discard the Wispon to hide. Mimic would later used the Rocket Wispon to present it to Dr. Eggman, claiming he had killed Whisper.[1]
