The Rocket Punch[1] (ロケットパンチ[2],Roketto Panchi?), formerly known as the K.O Glove,[3] is a power-up that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. When used, it launches a projectile that bounces off the sides and sends the competing racers spinning out of control.
The Rocket Punch is a missile-like weapon. Its fuselage is shaped like a green boxing glove.

Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing[]
The K.O. Glove appears as an Item Box power-up in Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing. When used, the K.O. Glove flies straight ahead in the user's direction and bounces off walls. It will disappear on its own after a few seconds have passed or when it hits either another racer or a course obstacle. This item also appears in sets of three called the Triple K.O. Glove. When the player holds down the Item button, all three K.O. Gloves are used, with one going straight and the other two at an angle.
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds[]
The Rocket Punch is set to appear as an Item Box power-up in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds. When used, it will be launched forward towards anywhere, including the foe. The item can also appear in sets of three, known as the Triple Rocket Punch (トリプルロケットパンチ[2],Toripuru Roketto Panchi?).
