Rock World Zone, also known as simply Rock Zone, is a scrapped Zone that was set to appear in Sonic the Hedgehog 2.
During the beta development of Sonic 2, when time travel was planned to exist, (which was later re-worked for Sonic the Hedgehog CD) this level was supposed to be the past version of another scrapped level, Sand Shower Zone. Aside from this, there is very little information about the Zone.
