Rock World Zone, also known as simply Rock Zone, is a scrapped Zone that was set to appear in Sonic the Hedgehog 2.
During the beta development of Sonic 2, when time travel was planned to exist, (which was later re-worked for Sonic the Hedgehog CD) this level was supposed to be the past version of another scrapped level, Sand Shower Zone.[1] Aside from this, there is very little information about the Zone.
