Rock 'n' Sonic The Hedgehog: Sessions is a digital album containing remixes of songs from the Sonic the Hedgehog series. The remixes were composed by Sonic sound director Jun Senoue, who picked all of the tracks in the album based on what he wanted to try rearranging to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the series.[1] It debuted on the Sonic the Hedgehog social media a few months prior with the exception of "Live & Learn - Acoustic Version", which was released a day after the album's release, and "Beyond The Speed Of... Remix", which first appeared in Sonic Racing. It also contains the remixes from the Sonic the Hedgehog Throwback Collection Vol.1.

Merchandise[]
Like Sonic the Hedgehog DJ Style Party, a small range of merchandise was made for the album. The range uses the "Rock 'n' Sonic The Hedgehog" artwork of Sonic, and a logo in the style of AC/DC's. The range released on the same day as the album, available from the online Japanese Sega store and Amazon Japan.[2]
