Robotnik Strikes Back is a DVD of Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog consisting of four episodes which originally aired on television in 1993. The DVD is approximately 88 minutes long and was released by NCircle Entertainment on 16 September 2008.

Official synopsis

Everyone knows that Dr. Robotnik is always thinking of the next best thing to catch Sonic. Each episode is centered around Robotnik trying something new to catch the incredibly fast Sonic and Tails in the act, but each time Sonic finds a way to foil Dr. Robotnik's plans, or does he? ~ NCircle Entertainment[1]

Episodes

  • "High Stakes Sonic" - Tails and other Mobius citizens are lured into Robotnik's robotic games of chance, and when they lose they're sent to slave labor camps. Sonic rescues Tails and the others by beating the house in games of chance at Robotnik's Casino, and outsmarting the robots in a climatic chase.
  • "Sonic's Song" - Outraged by a new hit song written about Sonic, Robotnik outlaws music on Mobius then takes pop star Catty Carlisle captive. With his MD (Music Destroyer) Robot, Robotnik terrorizes the music loving Mobius population till Sonic rescues Catty, and brings back the music.
  • "So Long Sucker" - Tails adopts a cute and fuzzy pet named Walter who turns out to be a black hole who sucks up everything in Mobius. Realizing that Walter is from another dimension our heroes have to return him and they soon find themselves spinning through interdimensional limbo.
  • "Pseudo Sonic" - Mobius is suffering a crime spree and all the evidence points to Sonic as the culprit. But the real thief is a lab rat wearing a high-tech vehicle suit who was sent by Robotnik to discredit our hero. When Sonic becomes ill, Tails uses the suit to try to be a hero. Sonic has to leave his sickbed and save the day.
