History[]
Southern Crossover[]
The Robo-Blimp was loaded with supplies and weaponry in Robotropolis, and "christened" by Robotnik with a bottle of oil before being sent to Downunda to provide forces for the regional Sub-Boss, Crocbot. In an effort to make the Robo-Blimp arrive safely, Robotnik remotely engaged its "Umbrella cloak", making it only visible from below, and stationed two Aerobots to guard it. Despite these precautions, however, Tails still discovered the blimp, due to him possessing a copy of its supply list that Robotnik had dropped during their previous encounter. He subsequently approached the blimp from below, only to be shot down by a blast from one of the Aerobot's Disruptors, while the Robo-Blimp continued on its path to Downunda. Arriving at Crocbot's base in Downunda, the Robo-Blimp was forced to swing around a second time due to Crocbot not extending the docking tether in time. Upon its second arrival at the fortress, however, Tails managed to interrupt the process, causing the high-voltage docking tether to swing wildly and destroy the Robo-blimp, with only a small about of the supplies it carried remaining usable.[2][3][1]
