The Ring Shot[1] is an object that appears in Shadow the Hedgehog. A pistol originating from the Black Arms, it is a gun-type weapon usable to both enemies and the player.

The Ring Shot has a black body with a red glowing area. Its shots create ring-shaped energy pulses.

In gameplay, the Ring Shot can only be found in certain Stages, such as Final Haunt. They can be wielded by enemies aligned with the Black Arms, who will use them against the player.

Ring Shots can be dropped by defeated enemies that wield them or released from breakable Containers. Touching them will make Shadow pick them up automatically and pressing PSSquareButton/SNNBGAMECUBEDISCO/XboxX (whether on the ground or in mid-air) fires them. As a gun, the Ring Shot can shoot enemies from a distance (targets within range will be automatically targeted). By comparison to other weapons, the Ring Shots' shots are slow, but can be fired rapidly and have a wide damage range. A Ring Shot has a total of twenty shots and once those run out, it becomes useless. However, it can be reloaded with another twenty shots by picking up another Ring Shot.
