The Ring Rolling[1] (天井走り,Tenjō Hashiri?, lit. "Ceiling Running") is a move that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a technique used by Trip the Sungazer to scale walls and ceilings.
When performing the Ring Rolling, Trip curls up into a wheel shape and uses her sharp scales to cling to surfaces and roll across them.
Overview[]
In Sonic Superstars, the Ring Rolling marks its first appearance as one of Trip's moves. In gameplay, the player must press and hold // or //, after performing a Double Jump, and touch a climbable wall or ceiling. Once Trip is attached to the surface, the player can move along it horizontally and/or vertically using //. The player can jump off the wall and/or ceiling in order to stop performing the move. Additionally, the move will be cancelled if the player reaches for the ground or the edge of the ceilings and walls.
