The icon for Ring Race mode.
Ring Race is a minigame for the 2P Battle Mode in Sonic Heroes. It is unlocked after obtaining forty Emblems in single player mode.
Gameplay
In this multiplayer mode, two players each control a team and the simple objective is to collect more Rings than the other within a short amount of time while traversing through a stage. Teams may either attack each other to knock away the rings of the other. As stated, the winner of this mode is whichever team holds more rings than the other once the timer runs out.
Stages
The following stages are played in Ring Race (listed in order):
When the player selects "ALL", the game will go through all three of the stages mentioned. The player who wins at least two out of three stages wins the entire minigame.
