Riders Chao is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog seriesChao that can increase their bonded individual's rewards.
Appearance [ ] Riders Chao have a cyan pudding-like body with a round, waterdrop-like head. They also have large eyes, no nose or mouth, a round torso that's smaller than their heads, smooth feet with no legs, and arms with no visible hands. In addition, neither their arms nor feet have digits. They also have a floating yellow dot above their head, yellow tips on their legs, arms and head point, a short and round tail, and a small set of wings on their backs. For attire, they wear a red bandana around their neck, and grey goggles with a clear lens over their eyes.
Overview [ ] In Sonic Speed Simulator Emerald Hill Boss Battle , with a 2.57% chance of receiving it from each spin. Before the Reborn update, they could be obtained from the Freestyle Riders Event by collecting air in increments of 5k, 10k, 25k, and 50k, as well as getting 5000 points on an extreme gear Extreme Gear .
In gameplay, Riders Chao can be equipped to the playable character, allowing them to fly by the side of the playable character as they move around. In addition, when equipped, Riders Chao will grant additional Experience Points whenever the playable character obtains a Chaos Orb and additional Rings whenever they pick up a single Ring. The player can as well level up Riders Chao for a cost of Rings and/or Red Star Rings at the Upgrade Machine , with level 25 being the maximum level. Leveling up a Riders Chao will improve its reward-granting attributes. Additionally, the player can fuse an Racer Chao by collecting five Racer Chao, leveling all of them up to maximum, and bringing them to the Fusion Machine . Fusing an Racer Chao will result in a singular fused Chao at level 1.
Powers and abilities [ ] Riders Chao are capable of flight. In addition, they possess the power to increase the rewards granted to the person they have bonded with.
