The Rhino Spike is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is a mass-produced robot line designed by Julian Snively and created by the Guardian Units of the Nation in their ongoing conflict against Dr. Eggman and the Eggman Empire.

Rhino Spikes were among the several G.U.N. units that were sent out to retrieve a Chaos Emerald, but were annihilated by Metal Sonic, who took the gem for himself.[2]
