Sonic sends Knuckles flying for a devastating punch that ignores armor and may leave the target vulnerable.

— Description, Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood[1]

Revolver Slam (リボルバースラム Riborubāsuramu?) is a POW move used by Knuckles the Echidna, with the aid of Sonic the Hedgehog, in Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood. When performing this move, Sonic sends Knuckles propelling into the air from where he lands a punch on the opponent. This attack pierces armor and may leave the target vulnerable.

Description[]

When performing Revolver Slam, Sonic walks up in front of Knuckles and revs up a Spin Dash. Knuckles then gets up on Sonic from behind and uses Sonic's spinning to propel himself directly up into mid-air. As Knuckles then begins to fall down, he dives straight into his opponent, striking the opponent with his both his fists first, before he and Sonic return to their team positions.

In gameplay, Revolver Slam deals attack damage to a single target. When it deals damage, Blade Drop pierces armor and has a chance of inflicting vulnerable on the target. The higher the level of Revolver Slam is, the more attack damage it will deal and the greater the possibility that it will inflict vulnerable on an opponent.

Real-Time Interaction[]

When performing Revolver Slam in gameplay, the player has to complete a series of real-time events by performing certain actions on the Touch Screen, in order to execute Revolver Slam optimally:

  1. The player has to touch the inside of two circles in succession when the outer circles overlap the inner circles.
  2. The player has to touch and stay inside the outer circle that appears when it overlaps the inner circle and follow it vertically across the middle of the screen, from the top of the screen to the bottom.

Missing or not touching these circles correctly will either result in Knuckles missing a strike or the damage from the attack being reduced.

Statistics[]

Level PP Cost Damage Effect
