Game appearances
Sonic the Hedgehog (16-bit)

Reverse blocks in a Special Stage, from Sonic the Hedgehog (16-bit).
In Sonic the Hedgehog (16-bit), and its numerous ports and remasters, Reverse[1] (リバース>[2] Ribāsu?) blocks are found in the Special Stages. In gameplay, by touching them, they will reverse the camera rotation direction.
Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles
In Sonic & Knuckles, and the lock-on game Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles, Reverse (リバース>[3] Ribāsu?) blocks look the same as in Sonic the Hedgehog (16-bit), except that they have a white "R" rather than a lime one. In gameplay, they appear in the Slot Machine Stages, where they are found on small gaps in side walls.
