The resistance HQ[2] is a location that appears in Sonic Forces. It is the secret base of operation for the Resistance, where its members plot their schemes to win back the world. At the peak of the Eggman Empire's reign, the HQ was the 0.01% of the world not under Dr. Eggman control.
The only room seen in the resistance HQ is a rectangular room, of which one half of it is used for meetings between the Resistance's leaders. In this room there are two reinforced metal doors, a massive display monitor, and a single desk in the middle. There are also Containers all over the place, as well as some debris on the floor. Two support beams can be seen in the center along the lengths of the room.
The HQ is situated somewhere in the City, though it's exact location is unspecified and how it looks from the outside is unknown.
History
At some point during Dr. Eggman's takeover of the planet, the Resistance set up base in what would become the resistance HQ. Even after months of conflict, Eggman either never discovered this place or was not able to conquer it.
In the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by IDW Publishing, the resistance HQ is the secret headquarters of the Resistance. Its shares a past nearly identical to its game counterpart up until the end of Sonic Forces.
Trivia
In early concepts for Sonic Forces, the Resistance's base was part of Mystic Jungle. Instead, the developers decided to place it somewhere in the City.[1]
