Reindeer Chao is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a Chao that can increase their bonded individual's rewards.

Appearance

Reindeer Chao have brown pudding-like bodies with round, waterdrop-like heads. They also have large dark blue eyes, no noses or mouths, round torsos that are smaller than their heads, smooth feet with no legs, and arms with no visible hands. In addition, neither their arms nor feet have digits. However, they have dark brown tips on their arms and feet as well as cream spots on the center of their torsos and head points. They also have a floating red dot above their heads, short and round tails, a small set of wings on their backs, and light brown antlers on their head.

Overview

In Sonic Speed Simulator, Reindeer Chao is a collectible pet of the "Seasonal" rarity. It could be purchased at a display model near the starting point in Green Hill for 399 Robux starting on the 23rd of December 2022. Alternatively, the player could buy five of them at once for 1,399 Robux at a display model in the same world. However, the option to purchase them was removed around a week later.

In gameplay, Reindeer Chao can be equipped to the playable character, allowing them to fly by the side of the playable character as they move around. In addition, when equipped, the Reindeer Chao will grant additional Experience Points whenever the playable character obtains a Chaos Orb and additional Rings whenever they pick up a single Ring. The player can as well level up Reindeer Chao for a cost of Rings and/or Red Star Rings at the Upgrade Machine, with level 25 being the maximum level. Leveling up a Reindeer Chao will improve its reward-granting attributes. Additionally, the player can fuse a Reindeer Chao by collecting five of them, leveling all of them up to maximum, and bringing them to the Fusion Machine. Fusing a Reindeer Chao will result in a singular fused Chao at level 1.

Powers and abilities

Reindeer Chao are capable of flight. In addition, they possess the power to increase the rewards granted to the person they have bonded with.
