Rava the Destroyer[1] is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog film series produced by Paramount Pictures and its spin-offs. He is an evil lizard warrior who lives in the Marble Zone.
Concept and creation
Rava was originally created for the Sonic the Hedgehog 2020 film. The character was designed by concept artist and illustrator Bayard Wu, whom gave them the name "Rava", who was originally described in the U.S Copyright Records for Sonic the Hedgehog as a "Lizard Warrior who wants to steal Sonic's power and take over the universe."[2][3] However, Rava and his story got cut from the final product.[2]
Appearance
Rava is a tall, muscular, humanoid lizard with a large tail, a long tongue, legs which bend backwards, and pale green, scaly skin with some pale light green scales on parts of his body. For attire, he wears a dark khaki shirt with baggy sleeves that go down to their elbows, a light khaki shoulder bag, and a dark brown, hooded cape.[1]

One day in Marble Zone, Rava ran afoul of a young fox named Tails and menacingly confronted the young fox, calling him an intruder. However, not wanting to deal with Rava, Tails flew over him, leaving the lizard to curse him.[1]
Personality
Rava is very aggressive and territorial, threatening anyone who comes to his world. Rava also speaks in a melodramatic manner, saying things such as "Curse you!"[1]

Rava possesses active powers over chaos energy.[1]
