Racing Around the World is a campaign launched by Sega in May of 2025 to celebrate the release of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds. Announced on May 21, 2025, the campaign involves the increased involvement of racing elements within the Sonic the Hedgehog series throughout the year of 2025.

Following on from the Fearless: Year of Shadow campaign in 2024, Sega launched their third, annual event on 21 May 2025 with this event having a focus on racing. The event aims to bring together fans of the Sonic the Hedgehog series through the theme of being passionate and being together across the world. In accordance with the year focusing on racing, several "racing themed" events and media have been planned, including the release of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds and the global release of Sonic Rumble.

Much like Fast. Friends. Forever and Fearless: Year of Shadow, a website was set up for the campaign that provides information on the upcoming events such as information on merch or a trailer for the year. It also lists recent and upcoming games released in the series. Team Sonic, Team Dark, Amy, and Dr. Eggman all receive bios on the website which reuse their artwork and summaries created for Fast. Friends. Forever. the two years prior.

Trivia

• The campaign started on the same day as Team Sonic Racing's 6th Anniversary.
• In the launch trailer, the rally car used has a speedometer which records speed in "Miles Prower" - a reference to Tails' name.
• Despite not receiving a bio on the official website yet, Blaze the Cat appears as part of the campaign through some of its merchandise.
