Rachel is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog film. She is the mother of Jojo and sister of Maddie.
History
Film series
Sonic the Hedgehog
When Tom arrives at her house, holding what appears to be a strange bundle wrapped in a blue blanket, Rachel, having heard of the recent news, accuses Tom of carrying in terrorist materials, such as plutonium. She and Tom bicker, before Ozzy pulls off the blanket and reveals Sonic underneath, causing her to faint. She is later tied up to a chair to prevent her from causing more trouble. Tom and Maddie later use her car to travel to the Transamerica Pyramid.
Later on, Rachel is still tied to the chair. While Jojo runs around her, she quietly requests her to put Rachel's Fitbit band on.
Personality
Rachel is a straightforward, no-nonsense woman. She dislikes being lied to and prefers it when situations are handled in a legal way, as shown when she threatened to call the police on Tom when he did not explain why he was wanted by the government. She also dislikes Tom and is always bothering Maddie to divorce him.
Trivia
- In a deleted scene, it is shown that the tow truck returned to her house, and she calls the police to try to get Tom. She ends up getting Wade on the other end of the call instead. After Wade flirts with Rachel a little bit, Rachel then sets up a date for Wade to "come find her" and hangs up the phone.
