Purple Lightspeed Trail

The Purple Lightspeed Trail is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a trail used to modify the playable character's appearance and boost their rewards.

Description[]

When equipped, the Purple Lightspeed Trail takes the appearance of a textured purple streak that the playable character leaves behind them while they move around or surrounds them like an aura when they stand still. This trail stretches out from behind the playable character until it eventually fades away.

Overview[]

In Sonic Speed Simulator, the Purple Lightspeed Trail is a collectible trail of the "Rare" rarity. It can be unlocked at the blue and light blue vending machine in Hill Top. When purchasing from this vending machine, the player has a 30% chance of getting a Purple Lightspeed Trail.

In gameplay, the Purple Lightspeed Trail lets the playable character produce this trail's textured streak behind them as they move around. In addition, when equipped, the Purple Lightspeed Trail will grant additional Experience Points whenever the playable character obtains a Chaos Orb and additional Rings whenever they pick up a single Ring. The player can as well level up a Purple Lightspeed Trail for a cost of Rings and/or Red Star Rings at the Upgrade Machine, with level 25 being the maximum level. Leveling up a Purple Lightspeed Trail will improve its reward-granting attributes. Additionally, the player can evolve a Purple Lightspeed Trail by collecting five Purple Lightspeed Trails, leveling all of them up to maximum, and bringing them to the Fusion Machine. Evolving a Purple Lightspeed Trail will combine the Purple Lightspeed Trails into a single evolved trail at level 1, with boosted base stats compared to the un-evolved version.
