Professor Von Schlemmer is a character in the Sonic the Hedgehog and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. He is a humanoid scientist native to Silver the Hedgehog's time period.
History
Professor Von Schlemmer discovered the existence of the Genesis Portals, which were created by the same energies that brought about the Shattered World Crisis in the present of Sonic's World. Fearing what might happen if these portals were put to use improperly, he called upon Silver the Hedgehog to travel through time and space and close them.[1]
Personality
Prof. Von Schlemmer is a brilliant scientist with a strong moral sense, as indicated by his insistence upon Silver closing the Genesis Portals. He also speaks with a slight German accent, such as saying "vun" instead of "one".[1]
