Template:Item Prized Stapler is a quest item in Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood.
Story
When the team is searching for Eggman Devices in southwestern Central City, they trace a signal to a shopkeeper who claims to have been tricked by a salesman named Sal. According to the shopkeeper, he bartered his Prized Stapler for a "coffee maker" that doesn't seem to work. In order to get the "coffee maker", which is emitting a signal, the team must find Sal in Green Hill Zone, retrieve the Prized Stapler, and return it to the shopkeeper.
The team heads to Green Hill Zone and finds Sal in the eastern area of the main island. Sal immediately greets the party, attempting to barter with them. Tails remarks that everything Sal is offering is "knickknacks and useless junk", and Sonic then tells Sal what the team is really after. Sal attempts to convince Sonic that he made a fair bargain with the shopkeeper, but the response he receives is a straightforward threat from the hedgehog. The threat works, and Sal hands over the Prized Stapler, stating that it was "too...shiny" anyway.
The team returns the stapler to the shopkeeper, who gives them his Eggman Device.
