The Prison Governor is a character that appears in the Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. He was the official in charge of the Metropolis City High Security Prison.
Appearance[]
The Prison Governor is grey-furred and elderly person, with a bushy moustache and half-moon spectacles. He wears a brown suit over a light blue shirt and dark blue tie.
History[]
After being arrested and imprisoned in Metropolis City High Security Prison, Grimer managed to escape and take over the prison. He forced the Prison Governor to be his lackey, even making him lie to Sonic the Hedgehog that Grimer was still locked up.[1]
The Governor also helped Grimer in his plan to take control of the Kintobor Computer. The Governor was incredibly nervous that Sonic would find out that Grimer was behind it, although Grimer insisted that it was the Governor's job to ensure that Sonic continued to believe that Grimer was a prisoner. After Grimer's Kintobor Badnik was defeated, the Governor thought that Sonic had won, but Grimer explained that he had merely used the distraction to secretly patch some surveillance software into the rebooted Kintobor main system.[2][3]
