This level involves some sort of giant press in the background that will automatically cause the player to jump at regular intervals. It is possible to dodge this automatic jump by jumping on our own, which will still lead to a jump, but less high.
During Trip's story, the press will increase the pace as the player gets closer to the end of the level.
Act 2[]
This level involves an Eggman-themed drone pursuing the player(s) at all times, operating on a timer. This requires the players to press buttons scattered throughout the level before the timer on the drone reaches 0. Failure to do so will set the level on fire and result in an instant loss.
If he is not already active as a player character, Knuckles can be seen climbing a wall in the background early into Act 1's lower route.
During Act 2:
The ruins of the gigantic press from Act 1 can be seen in the background during the first half of the Act.
A hidden room within the first half of the Act displays a crude drawing of Eggman's[1]. The art depicts the doctor triumphantly standing over (in-order, from left to right) Knuckles, Sonic, Tails and Amy.
