The Presidential House is a location that appears in Sonic the Hedgehog: The Movie. It is a building on South Island where the President resides.
Description[]
Sonic and Tails confront Dr. Robotnik at the President's desk, from Sonic the Hedgehog: The Movie.
The Presidential House is built from white stone in a Palladian style, with a domed tower and supporting columns on all sides. The interior has a modern design, with decorative columns on many of the walls. The President's desk is illuminated by a row of large, arched windows, the central of which is decorated with a stained glass feature.

Welcome to Robotropolis[]
Sonic the Hedgehog and Tails once traveled to the Presidential House in the Tornado at Old Man Owl's request. There, they discovered that Dr. Robotnik had taken over the building, holding the President and his daughter Sara hostage with a group of his guard robots. Robotnik then used the Presidential family to convince Sonic and Tails to travel to Robotropolis, and after the pair left, Robotnik took Sara with him to pursue Sonic and Tails in his Metal Robotnik mecha.
Trivia[]
- The Presidential House interior bears a close resemblance to the White House, the real-life residence of the United States President.
- It is the first version of the White House to appear in the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, followed by the White House in Sonic X, and later the White House in Shadow the Hedgehog, home to the President of the United Federation.
- The exterior of the house is designed after the Capitol Building, the seat of the United States government's legislative branch.
