The Power Boost[1] (連続ジャンプ[2],Renzoku Janpu?, lit. "Double Jump"), is a move that appears in Knuckles' Chaotix. It is a technique where Vector the Crocodile performs a short midair dash in any direction.

When performing the Power Boost, Vector sets off in midair and dashes in a specific direction with his elbow and shoulder in front.
In gameplay, performing the Power Boost allows Vector to perform a short midair dash in one of the eight basic directions after ascending into midair with a Spin Jump. This grants the player a wider movement range while in midair. However, it can only be used once per Spin Jump. To perform the Power Boost in gameplay, the player has to press during a Spin Jump. Use while executing this maneuver to control Vector's vectors.
