Sonic and Tom living it up in the Piston Pit, from Sonic the Hedgehog (film).

On their way to San Francisco, Sonic and Tom stopped at the gas station adjacent to the Piston Pit. While Tom went to make a phone call to Wade and buy them some food, Sonic went to the Piston Pit in disguise. Upon finding Sonic gone, Tom went to the Piston Pit and initially tried to get Sonic to leave with him, but was persuaded by Sonic to to remain there for a while with him. When the Roadhouse Waitress then arrived at their table and began questioning Sonic's appearance, Tom convinced her that Sonic was human. As Tom then mentioned the bucket list concept to Sonic, Sonic began making one for himself that held all the things he wanted to do before leaving Earth. When Sonic realized that he did not have much time left to do them though, Tom decided to help him cross off the things on his bucket list that they could do at the Piston Pit. During this time, Sonic and Tom would bond. However, their good time got interrupted by a Roadhouse Thug and his associates who did not take kindly to their presence. While Tom wanted to leave without causing a ruckus, Sonic ended up causing a bar brawl that quickly encompasses the entire tavern in its mayhem. Using his super speed, however, Sonic incapacitated everyone in the bar. He and Tom then used this opportunity to get back to Tom's truck and escape the Piston Pit's angry patrons.

Not long after, Dr. Robotnik and Agent Stone came to the Piston Pit as it underwent repairs, where the pair interrogated the Roadhouse Thug about where Sonic and Tom had gone, eventually getting what they needed from him with some good cop, bad cop routine, before throwing him out a window, much to the frustration of the repairmen.

Sonic the Hedgehog: The Adventures of Sonic & Donut Lord[]

During Sonic and Tom's trip to San Francisco, Sonic noticed the Piston Pit along the way and headed in there to check it out. When Tom followed Sonic in there, he was persuaded by Sonic to be his wingman for the evening. While in the Piston Pit, Sonic used this opportunity to cross things off his bucket list. During this, he had a bar fight with a Roadhouse Thug, rode a mechanical bull, played darts, and had some root beers. However, Sonic and Tom had to leave the Piston Pit when the Roadhouse Thug began to recover.[1]
