While Tom is on the phone at the adjacent gas station, Sonic becomes entranced by the ongoing festivities. Using a cowboy hat, a short-sleeved button down, and Tom's sunglasses, Sonic enters the bar unnoticed. Tom later enters the bar to find Sonic, and while initially adamant on leaving immediately, he relents and decides to help Sonic make the most out of his last night on Earth.

While Sonic and Tom are resting at their table, a trio of thugs attempt to intimidate Tom and Sonic into leaving. Instead, the hedgehog taps into his plethora of action film knowledge and starts a fight, which quickly encompasses the entire tavern in its mayhem. Sonic uses his super speed to rescue Tom from the fray and incapacitate all of the patrons with creative pranks. As a finisher, Sonic sets up the leader of the thugs to charge out the window while wearing a bear head. Sonic and Tom quickly drive away from the Piston Pit with an angry horde running after them.

The following day, while repairs are underway, Robotnik and his agents arrive at the Piston Pit looking for Wachowski and Sonic. The thug leader, now wearing a neck brace, refuses to cooperate. Failing to learn his lesson, he proceeds to rudely dismiss Stone and attempts to intimidate Robotnik. The amused roboticist forces the information out of the bully, and proceeds to throw him through the same window from the previous night, much to the frustration of the repairmen.
