The Photon Cannon is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics.
Description[]
The Photon Cannon is a dark green cylinder shaped cannon. It is used to stabilize rifts in space-time.
History[]
The Photon Cannon was used to stabilize the Zone of Silence, as it initially would absorb anything that came near it, and would have destroyed all of Mobius. However, Sonic would eventually destroy the Photon Cannon, forcing Doctor Robotnik to find another means of dealing with the Zone of Silence.[1]
