Pex Ripple from Sonic the Comic #129. Art by Nigel Dobbyn.

Pex Ripple is a character that appears in the Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. He is an anthropomorphic lion and action movie star.

He worked for producer Wilbur Z. Sprockethole the Third, who cast him (along with Brawny Gungho) as one of the two leads in a movie about Amy Rose and Tekno the Canary. Despite his big muscles, he was a coward and a terrible fighter. When Badniks attacked the studio, he fled saying that he'd just had a manicure.[1]
