Perminator Salon is a location that appears in the Sonic Underground television series. It is a hairdresser's and spa in Robotropolis. Managed primarily by Doo Bot, the salon tends to any hair-related needs of any organic customers (especially the aristocrats) and also accepts reservations by phone. Their slogan is "Hair-sta la vista, baby!"

History

While working on customers at Perminator Salon, Doo Bot hypnotized them into revealing their true feelings about Dr. Robotnik. These conversations were recorded on tapes hidden in Doo Bot's chest, which were replaced regularly and brought to Robotnik so that he could differentiate his allies from his enemies.

Meanwhile, Sonia was getting frustrated at her brothers' annoying antics and desired some relaxation. After Sonic used Sonia's hairdryer to cook chili dogs and short-circuited it, splattering chili everywhere, Sonia found a catalogue advertising the Perminator Salon and paid a visit. She arrived wearing a scarf and sunglasses so that no one would recognize her, especially Bartleby.

While at Perminator Salon, Sonia was given many treatments, including aromatherapy and an aura massage, and was hypnotized by Doo Bot into providing the location of the Underground's new - albeit cramped and dirty - rebel base. When Sonia was finished and pleased with her treatment, Sleet and Dingo entered the salon to collect the tape from Doo Bot's chest. Sleet ordered two Swatbots to deal with Sonia, but Sonia defeated them by crushing one with a cabinet and spraying the other with a shower. Dingo tried to extract the tape from Doo Bot, but was kicked onto a swivel chair by Sonia and catapulted into the ceiling when Doo Bot stomped on the chair's pneumatic pump. Sonia then destroyed some hair products with her keyboard and drenched Sleet with hair mousse. However, in the chaos, Sonia realized that Doo Bot was missing and left the salon to find her.

Trivia

• The name of the salon is a portmanteau of perm, a type of hairstyle, and Terminator, a well-known series of science fiction / action films. The salon's slogan is a pun on Schwarzenegger's famous catchphrase "Hasta la vista, baby!" from Terminator 2.
