The Particle-To-Light Organizer and Transporter Device, or just P.L.O.T. device for short, is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is a contraption that allows people to be transported into the Digital World.
Description[]
The P.L.O.T. device allows living individuals to manifest themselves in the Digital World and interact with it.
History[]
The P.L.O.T. device was first used to assist in Shadow the Hedgehog's quest to learn more about his past by accessing the damaged diary of Professor Gerald Robotnik before all the information on it deteriorated forever.[1] It was used again a while later to access the digital defenses of New Mobotropolis and contact Nicole while she was under the influence of the Iron Queen's Magitek.[2]
Trivia[]
- The device's nickname is a play on the use of such things within a story: the P.L.O.T. Device.
- The P.L.O.T. device is similar to Dr. Ellidy's Digitizer in that it allows a person passage into the Digital World. However, whereas the Digitizer can only transport a person's consciousness, the P.L.O.T. device sends the person's entire body into the Digital World.
