Oriental City (オリエンタルシティ Orientarushiti?)[2] is a location that appears in the anime series Sonic X. It is a city located in Hawk's home country on Earth.

Chaos Emerald Saga
Knuckles the Echidna came to Oriental City when he was contacted by his friend Hawk, who had found a Chaos Emerald for him. Looking for the whereabouts of Hawk, a street gang named the Bruiser Boys tricked Knuckles into coming with him to find Hawk, only to throw Knuckles into a cell with Hawk. However, the two quickly escaped. Meanwhile, Decoe and Bocoe, who were in Oriental City, informed Dr. Eggman of Knuckles' presence, making Eggman dispatch E-91 Lady Ninja to investigate.[1]
Hawk took Knuckles to the Chaos Emerald, which was hidden in a subway, only for it to get buried under rubble when Lady Ninja appeared and tried to steal it. Returning with the Shovel Claws, Knuckles dug the Emerald up, only for Lady Ninja to kidnap Hawk and hold him for ransom. Just had Knuckles was about to give the Chaos Emerald to Eggman however, Rouge arrived to take the Emerald herself, leading to a mad chase for the Emerald between Knuckles, Hawk, Rouge and Lady Ninja throughout the city. In the end, Rouge gave up the hunt, while Knuckles and Hawk defeated Lady Ninja and secured the Emerald. The next day, Hawk saw Knuckles off as he left the city.[1]
