Orchardville[1] is a location that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by IDW Publishing. It is a quite large village that has a lot of forestation.

Description

Orchardville is a rather large village with a lot of green and amber forestation. It has a bit of a gloomy atmosphere.[1]

History

All or Nothing

Zor terrorizing the citizens of Orchardville, from Sonic the Hedgehog #25.

Equipped with an owl mech, Zor set out to Orchardville. There, while he took control over several Zombots, he decided to recite poetry in light of him enjoying his victims' misery. He soon viewed a farmer trying to protect a child from a few Zombots but he only grinned and recited more poetry, knowing that it was a pointless act.[1] As Zor grew his Zombot army, Silver the Hedgehog and Whisper the Wolf arrived in Orchardville. While Whisper stayed hidden to give Silver cover, Silver attacked and engaged Zor in battle. Whisper had her Wisps take prisms and scatter in random different directions. The wolf shot a laser out of her Variable Wispon that bounced off of the prism until it hit Zor and knocked the Chaos Emerald that he was equipped with off of his chest. Silver collected the Emerald and proceeded to destroy Zor's owl mech. While Silver and Whisper left Orchardville, Zor happily accepted his grim fate of being swarmed by Zombots.[2][3]

Out of the Blue

After Super Sonic and Super Silver had reversed the effects of the Metal Virus all around the world, the Zombots were no more and were cured. The villagers in Orchardville decided to cautiously search for Zor. One of the villagers named Glen went off on their own during this search. They did run afoul of Zor but he managed to overpower them and continue hiding, though he did enjoy the fact that he was being hated and hunted and was desperate and alone.[4]

Zeti Hunt

Eventually, the Deadly Six attacked Orchardville as a diversion for the Restoration. After getting pinned down by Zavok, two soldiers from the Restoration decided to work together to inform Jewel of this attack.[5]
