A channel.
Channels[1] are objects, that are seen in Sonic Colors. It's sharp and cyan sparkling management head, which leads a shortcuts or alternative sections in the level.
When the player has Cyan Wisp during that time, as being close to the optical channel, the player has to activate the Cyan Laser and aim toward the entry point for the channel and then release the wisp energy. The entry point for the channel will suck the the player along with its wisp energy through the through the channel to the closest head and then brings the player back to its original form. The player may find himself from completely different section after this event.
