The Omni-Tool[1] is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-off comics published by Archie Comics. It is a multi-tool device used by Dr. Eggman.
Description[]
Appearance[]
The Omni-Tool is a blue wrist gauntlet with multiple cups on the surface which can open to reveal multiple small tools for operating on machines.[1]
Features and traits[]
The Omni-Tool is capable of modifying machinery using its mechanical arms, which are seemingly controlled by thought.[1]
History[]
Scrambled[]
While battling the Iron Oni, Dr. Eggman was brought his Omni-Tool by Orbot and Cubot which he used to sabotage the Iron Oni with. Once Eggman had the mech where he wanted it, he discarded the Omni-Tool.[1]
Trivia[]
- The word "Omni" is the Latin word for "all" or "every", referring to the multiple tools the Omni-Tool has.
- The name Omni-Tool is derived from the term Multi-tool which is a versatile hand tool that combines several individual functions in a single unit.
