Octopus Bot is a machine that appears in the Sonic Boom television series. It is the counterpart of Octopus Bot from the Mirror Dimension, created by Dr. Eggman.
Appearance
Octopus Bot is essentially a doppelganger of its Sonic Boom World counterpart and is so identical to it in design.
History
TV series
Season one
Octopus But was used by Dr. Eggman to battle Team Sonic where it managed to land a few hits while Dave tried providing cover. As Knuckles counterattacked, Octopus fired two lasers when it got knocked back, whose united frequency sent Knuckles on a trip to the Sonic Boom World.[1]
Powers and abilities
Octopus has many of the same abilities as its Sonic Boom World counterpart. It is capable of midair flight and possesses ten extendable tentacles that give it a wide attack range and multiple limbs to strike with. Like a real octopus, it can also excrete black ink which can shoot in large puddles for the opponents to slip on.[1]
Octopus Bot can fire different lasers of such concussive power that even their aftershock can sent a bystander flying into the air. If these lasers combine, they create a new type of beam with a frequency that allows dimensional travel.[1]
