Ocean View is a racetrack set to appear in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds. It is based on the track of the same name from Team Sonic Racing, which itself is based on the track from Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed.

Description[]

Ocean View is located in Seaside Hill, a beautiful tropical sea coast filled with ancient white and red ruins. The main racetrack is located on an elevated stone track that leads around the ruins. The land outside the track is flooded with seawater on each side. In addition, different islets and cliffs can be seen dotting the sea here and there. Near the end of the first lap is a narrow boat section weaving between small islands, which is rerouted into a wide path around the islands in the third lap.

Gameplay[]

This incarnation of Ocean View combines elements from the previous version of the track. It starts off with a bendy straightaway as in the original version of the track, with an earlier bent loop-de-loop. Following the loop-de-loop is a corner turn that offers a decent amount of air for tricks, as well as a shortcut. After this section, the racers drive off-ramp into a boat section, where there is a mild fork in the road. The boat section eventually turns into another car section, offering an upper and lower section to drive on, before reaching on last bend. During the first lap, this bend's road will glow two different colors on the way to the finish line, allowing first place the chance to choose which CrossWorld will serve as Lap 2.[1]
