Obliterator Bot is a character that appears in the Sonic Boom franchise. It is a colossal robot, created by Dr. Eggman and a powerhouse in the doctor's robot legion.
Appearance
Obliterator Bot is a fifty foot tall humanoid robot. It has a black frame with thick red plating on its legs, arms, front pelvis and back, and yellow two-toed feet. On each shoulder it has a large cyan bulb. For its right hand it has a toothless chainsaw and for its left hand it has a two-fingered pincher. Both around its shoulders and on each "hand" it is adorned with yellow hazard stripes. It also possesses a blocky head with large lower jaw, cyan eyes and a mining helmet-like plating on top.
History
TV series
After Dr. Eggman had exhausted Sonic and Tails by living with them, Obliterator Bot was summoned to eliminate the two heroes, along with Knuckles, Amy and Sticks. However, due to a few kinks in its programming, Obliterator Bot misheard Eggman's order to "destroy Sonic and his four friends" as "destroy fortress" and headed to Dr. Eggman's lair to destroy it despite Eggman's orders to stop.[1]
On the lair's island, Obliterator Bot began its rampage until Team Sonic arrived, having been convinced by Eggman to stop it. There, Obliterator Bot was distracted by Knuckles, Amy and Sticks while Sonic, Tails and Eggman reached its kill switches in the lair. Obliterator Bot was then dealt the final blow by Sonic, who knocked its head off with a metal plate.[1]

Oblierator Bot was summoned by Dr. Eggman to attack the villagers at the Eggtoberfest when Eggman failed to earn their trust. After it had blown up a Ferris wheel, Obliterator Bot was knocked over by Sonic in a giant treadmill.[2]
Personality
Obliterator is obedient and unwaveringly dedicated to Dr. Eggman's orders. However, due to kinks in its initial programming, it was not a very good listener, completely mishearing or ignoring Eggman's orders.[1]
Powers and abilities
Obliterator Bot has high physical strength, enough to let it topple large trees and smash metal bare-handed. It possesses two type of armaments, namely a chainsaw-like weapon for its right hand which can cut right through metal and a missile launcher in its chest which can topple entire Ferris wheels.[1][2] Curiously, it is also equipped with a sound system.[1]
