The Nimbus[1] is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics.

Appearance[]
The Nimbus is a solid cloud-like platform that is white in color. When in the Iron Khan form, the Nimbus is black.
Features and traits[]
Although its nature and origin are not made clear, it is likely the Nimbus is the result of Monkey Khan's cybernetics and Atom-Bat's ability to generate lightning. This is hinted at further given the Nimbus changes color when influenced by the Iron Queen's Magitek, similar to the Atom-Bat's blue lightning turning red.[2]
Trivia[]
- The Nimbus shares its name and has a similar appearance and function with an object used by Son Goku, the main character of the Dragon Ball franchise, and who, like Monkey Khan, is based off of the main character of A Journey to the West, Sun Wukong.
