Nigel Kitching is a comic book writer and artist who worked for the British publication Sonic the Comic.
Description[]
He was the comic's longest-serving writer and, along with Lew Stringer, one of its most prolific. He joined the comic in Sonic the Comic #4, writing the story "Day of the Badniks", and remained with the comic until its final issues. He frequently collaborated with artist Richard Elson.
He is best known for creating the STC personalities of the majority of the Sonic series characters, including Sonic himself, Amy Rose, Doctor Robotnik, and most notably Super Sonic, whom he envisaged as a psychotic demon fuelled by Chaos Energy.
