New Yoke City is the fourth world in Sonic Speed Simulator. This world is based on the location of the same name from the Sonic Prime TV show. It can be unlocked after the playable character buys the world for 500,000 Rings. The fourth questline is located here, which is used to unlock Sonic (New Yoke Style) as a playable character. The Zone currently features a event which can be completed to unlock Rebel Rouge as a playable character.
Description[]
New Yoke City resembles a dystopian city, composed of numerous metallic buildings and tunnels, separated by streets with inactive trains lying on them. The walls of the city are dotted with imagery of the Chaos Council, and graffiti of the Resistance. In the winding alleyways of the city, dumpsters and uncollected trash bags can be found. At the center of the stage lies a tall golden statue of Mr. Dr. Eggman, nearby the portals leading back to Green Hill and Emerald Hill, and the (currently unavailable) portal to the next world. Above the stage are a multitude of floating pathway and Grind Rails, while lower down, pipes and tunnels can be found running through it. The hidden base of the Resistance can also be found, containing a preserved palm tree.
Gameplay[]
New Yoke City is an open level meant for free-roaming, which prominently features Eggforcers and Security Drones as stationary enemies. Grind Rails are a prominent feature of the Zone, as are tunnels and Springs. Most of the inactive trains found in the streets of the Zone feature grind rails, allowing for the player to pass over them with ease. As with all Zones in Sonic Speed Simulator, the player can find and collect many Chaos Orbs, Rings, and Sky Rings by locating them throughout this Zone.
Near the center of the city up a sloop is an area of the map sporting an inactive portal supposedly leading to the next Zone, with slots for the six Gate keys required to unlock it. At the left side of the portal is Tails Nine, who offers the player quests and adventures with the ultimate goal of the former being to unlock Sonic (New Yoke Style) as a playable character. On the right side is Renegade Knucks, who takes the place of Jet the Hawk in previous Zones as the initiator of Time Trial-related quests. Portals to the Zone's three Time Trials are also present to the right of Knucks, while an Upgrade Machine can be found to the left of Tails Nine. Vending machines are also found at the foot of this slanted area.
Overview[]
For a player to enter New Yoke City, they must first have their character acquire all 6 New Yoke City Gate Keys, this can be achieved by completing the quests and Time Trials in Emerald Hill. Once all the keys have been acquired, the player can travel to New Yoke City by entering the portals to in found in Green Hill and Emerald Hill.

Sonic (New Yoke Style)[]
This questline must be completed to unlock Sonic (New Yoke Style).
- Objective: Collect 1,200 Chaos Orbs.
- Rewards: 30m Boost
- Objective: Collect 1,000,000 Rings.
- Rewards: 140,000 Rings
- Objective: Destroy 150 Badniks.
- Rewards: 100 Red Star Rings
- Objective: Earn 50,000 Rail Grind Points
- Rewards: 180,000 Rings
- Objective: Reach Level 150.

- Resistance Rebound Event: In order to combat the oppressive rule of the Chaos Council, Rebel Rouge tasks the player to collect Metal Scraps from around New Yoke City.

- From 22 April 2023 to 25 May 2024, a Prime Sale was located in New Yoke City which included Tails Nine, Rusty Rose, and Prime Rouge.
- A purchasable Karate Chao for 99 Robux was added out of bounds in New Yoke City behind a closed door in the Resistance Base. It went off sale on June 23rd, 2024.
