The Neural Chip is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics.

Description[]

Appearance[]

The Neural Chip is a small grey chip.

Features and traits[]

The Neural Chip was made by the Iron Queen with the alleged attempt to undo the explosives Doctor Eggman placed inside the Echidnas of the Albion Dark Egg Legion. Dimitri later managed to modify one of them to give the Neural Chip proper resistance to the Iron Queen’s Magitek, as well as having a degree of mind control over the Albion Dark Egg Legion.

History[]

When the Albion Dark Egg Legion swore their allegiance to the Iron Dominion, Dimitri informed the Iron Queen of the explosives Doctor Eggman had placed in all of them, and requested she aid them in freeing them of the explosives. The Iron Queen gave Dimitri a case full of Neural Chips, although they were secretly intended to make them susceptible to her Magitek, something Dimitir discovered on his own. Dimitri would later attempt to modify them to make them resistant to Magitek, managing to complete one, which was then stolen by Lien-Da for her own use. Later, the Neural Chip was shown to be effective in both blocking the explosives and resisting the Iron Queen’s Magitek, although the Iron Queen still ended up manually causing the explosive in Lien-Da to go off using her Magitek.[1][2][3]
