The Neon Nightz is a location that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog film series produced by Paramount Pictures and its spin-offs. It is a roadside bowling alley with a space theme that Wade and Knuckles stop at on their trip to Reno in "The Warrior."
Description[]
History[]
"The Warrior"[]
When Wade asks Knuckles when they would start training, Knuckles tells Wade that a warrior cannot begin their training without first knowing their Battleground. Wade saw a billboard for the Neon Nightz bowling alley at the next exit and decided to take Knuckles there. Upon arrival, Knuckles saw the place not as a battleground, but as a "playground for adult idiots" until he witnessed Wade getting a strike, beginning to understand Wade's interest in the sport. While eating some chicken wings, Wade tells Knuckles that bowling reminds him of his father, who abandoned him at a TJ Maxx while they were out shopping for clothes as a kid. Shortly after, Wade gave Knuckles his bowling ball and told him to give bowling a shot. Knuckles threw his bowling ball at the pins, shattering them into pieces and impressing Wade.
"The Flames of Disaster"[]
After Wade got kidnapped by Jack Sinclair and receives a call from Knuckles to concentrate in meditating, but he got electrocuted by Jack and fell asleep. Wade wakes up in Neon Nightz/his version of the Great Battleground in the Sky, and he meets Pachacamac, who helps Wade through his Battleground by having the lesson sung to him in the form of a low-budget rock opera. Mac then pulls out a staff and uses its power to cast Wade into the performance as Knuckles himself.
