Neon Chao are a type of Chao in Sonic Speed Simulator. They are Chao with one color for their entire body, which is always a bright neon color that gives off a glow effect

Appearance

Neon Chao have bright and glowing, pudding-like bodies with round, waterdrop-like heads. They also have large eyes, no noses or mouths, round torsos that are smaller than their heads, smooth feet with no legs, and arms with no visible hands. In addition, neither their arms nor feet have digits. They also have floating dots above their heads, short and round tails, and a small set of wings on their backs.

Overview

In Sonic Speed Simulator, Neon Chao are collectible pets that come in "Rare" and "Epic" rarities. They are obtained from Spin Wheels and events, specifically the Green Hill (Sonic Speed Simulator) obby Spin Wheels, and the Metal Madness and Firework Festival events

In gameplay, Neon Chao can be equipped to the playable character, allowing them to fly by the side of the playable character as they move around. In addition, when equipped, Neon Chao will grant additional Experience Points whenever the playable character obtains a Chaos Orb and additional Rings whenever they pick up a single Ring. The player can as well level up Neon Chao for a cost of Rings and/or Red Star Rings at the Upgrade Machine, with level 25 being the maximum level. Leveling up a Neon Chao will improve its reward-granting attributes. Additionally, the player can fuse a Neon Chao by collecting five of one variant of it, leveling all of them up to maximum, and bringing them to the Fusion Machine. Fusing a Neon Chao will result in a singular fused Chao at level 1.

Powers and abilities

Neon Chao are capable of flight. In addition, they possess the power to increase the rewards granted to the person they have bonded with.
