Description
Appearance
The Mystic Globe is a large and translucent, glass-like green orb that contains the Mystic Genies within it.
Features and traits
The Mystic Globe allows the Mystic Genies to enter the bodies of children when said children touch the globe, thereby giving the genies the ability to leave the Mystic Mountain.
History
The Mystic Globe was used by the Mystic Genies and the people of Shanazar for the Ritual of Transformation for generations. Every five years, a group of chosen children would be brought to the Mystic Globe in Mystic Mountain and touch it, allowing the genies to enter their bodies. That way, the Mystic Genies would be able to leave their mountain while the children would be able to use their genies' powers for the next five years before dying.[1]
For the most recent Ritual of Transformation, Sonic the Hedgehog and the Grand Vizier brought the next chosen children to the Mystic Globe.[2] However, upon learning that the children would die within a few years due to the ritual, Sonic smashed to globe, regardless of the protest of the children, preventing any future rituals.[1][2]
