The Muukadens are red Badniks based on centipedes with bodies made up of a string of spheres. They have large cartoonish black eyes, yellow mandibles, yellow and black hazard stripes running down their back, and long drills on both sides of their bodies, right behind their heads.
Overview[]
The Muukadens make their only appearance in Sonic Advance 3, where they appear exclusively in the last Act of Chaos Angel. In gameplay, the Muukadens can be found flying through midair, with spikes protruding from and retracting into both sides of their bodies. These spikes makes it difficult to both dodge and attack them without taking any damage. In order to defeat a Muukaden, the player has to attack its head, as attacking any other part of their body will result in the player taking damage. Like with most other Badniks in the game, the Muukadens release a Ring upon destruction.
Trivia[]
The Muukaden's name is derived from mukade, meaning "centipede" in Japanese.
