Mount Mobius is a location that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is an active volcano located near the Hidden City of the Ancients and the most active volatile volcano on Mobius.[1]

History

After Dr. Robotnik moved his robo operations in the Veg-O-Fortress to the Mount Mobius, Sonic the Hedgehog came to put an end to it. After navigating the various traps, robots and killer plants, Sonic was lured into a level where he was ejected from the fortress and Mount Mobius via a hidden spring.[2]

The following year, Mecha Sonic imprisoned Tails there as part of his bid to get revenge on Sonic, but ended up saving both Freedom Fighters from an eruption at the cost of his own life.[1][3]
