Full Moon Chao is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a Chao that can increase their bonded individual's rewards.

Appearance

Moonlight Chao have black colored pudding-like bodies with round, waterdrop-like heads. They also have large black eyes, no noses or mouths, round torsos that are smaller than their heads, smooth feet with no legs, and arms with no visible hands. In addition, neither their arms nor feet have digits. They also have a floating cream dot above their heads, cream tips on their legs and arms, a cream spot on their torso, a short and round tail, and a small set of wings on their backs.

Overview

In Sonic Speed Simulator, Moonlight Chao is a collectible pet of the "Rare" rarity, formerly of the "Seasonal" rarity before the Reborn update. They could be unlocked during the Rouge's Cauldron Event from the 22nd of October 2022 to the 29th of October 2022 by collecting 35 Volcanic Crystals in Hill Top and collecting 200 Witch's Blooms in Snow Valley, which would give the player two and three Moonlight Chao respectively. They could also be obtained by buying them with Robux during the same event.

In gameplay, Moonlight Chao can be equipped to the playable character, allowing them to fly by the side of the playable character as they move around. In addition, when equipped, Moonlight Chao will grant additional Experience Points whenever the playable character obtains a Chaos Orb and additional Rings whenever they pick up a single Ring. The player can as well level up Moonlight Chao for a cost of Rings and/or Red Star Rings at the Upgrade Machine, with level 25 being the maximum level. Leveling up a Moonlight Chao will improve its reward-granting attributes. Additionally, the player can fuse a Moonlight Chao by collecting five of them, leveling all of them up to maximum, and bringing them to the Fusion Machine. Fusing a Moonlight Chao will result in a singular fused Chao at level 1.

Powers and abilities

Moonlight Chao are capable of flight. In addition, they possess the power to increase the rewards granted to the person they have bonded with. They also have a slight magnet effect that increases the distance from which rings and Chaos Orbs can be collected.
